New Palao Market will start construction soon
ILIGAN CITY– On February 4, 2020, the Iligan City Council (Sangguniang Panlungsod) approved the construction of the New Palao Public Market.
LGU Iligan announced majority members of the council has approved the resolution proposed by Councilor Ian Uy, Committee Chairman on Infrastructure, with eleven (11) affirmative votes and four (4) abstention. The construction is expected to start by the end of February 2020, seven (7) days upon the receipt of Notice to Proceed with SP Resolution.

The New Palao Market with Contract Ref.# INFRA-19-047 has a total price of P583,468,951.01 awarded to BM Marketing with BAC Resolution #005 series of 2020. It is a 2-storey building with a rooftop intended for night market.
