Tang Sweet Orange juice is ideal for Filipinos looking for a refreshing and tasty way to stay hydrated and energized. This tangy treat, made with real orange juice and packed with vitamins, is a must-have for anyone looking for a healthy and tasty beverage option.

But what distinguishes Tang Sweet Orange juice? Let’s take a closer look at some of the advantages of this delectable beverage.

First and foremost, Tang Sweet Orange juice is made from real orange juice, which means it contains all of the goodness and nutrients found in this juicy fruit. Oranges are high in vitamin C, which is necessary for immune system health and collagen production for healthy skin. Vitamin C also aids in the absorption of iron, which is necessary for healthy blood cells and energy levels.

Tang Sweet Orange juice contains other essential vitamins and minerals, in addition to vitamin C, such as vitamins A and E, calcium, and potassium. These nutrients contribute to overall health and well-being by promoting strong bones, teeth, and muscles, as well as clear skin and eyes.

However, the benefits of Tang Sweet Orange juice extend beyond the nutrients it contains. This delectable beverage is also an excellent way to stay hydrated throughout the day, which is essential for maintaining optimal health and avoiding dehydration. Drinking plenty of fluids can also help with digestion, fatigue, and maintaining healthy skin and hair.

And, of course, don’t forget about the flavor! Tang Sweet Orange juice has a tangy, citrusy flavor that will delight your taste buds. It’s the ideal way to add a little sweetness to your day, whether as a refreshing beverage on a hot day or as an ingredient in your favorite recipes.

On Sunny beach days, Tang is the perfect thirst-quencher!

There’s nothing quite like sipping on a cold glass of Tang Sweet Orange juice while lounging on the sand and soaking up the sun. It’s a refreshing and delicious way to stay hydrated and energized while enjoying all the fun and excitement that the beach has to offer. So whether you’re building sandcastles with the kids or simply relaxing in the sun, make sure to bring a bottle of Tang Sweet Orange juice with you to the beach. It’s the perfect beach companion!

If you’re looking for a delicious and healthy beverage option, look no further than Tang Sweet Orange juice. With its real orange juice and essential vitamins and minerals, it’s the perfect way to stay hydrated and nourished throughout the day. Whether you’re on the go or relaxing at home, a glass of Tang Sweet Orange juice is the perfect way to brighten up your day and stay healthy and refreshed.

Making handicrafts from abaca fiber is something that requires all handwork. It takes time to finish a product that is creatively made.

But now, women are doing well in the handmade industry and showing off beautiful designs and new ideas.

The Barangay Pala-O-based Pabahandi Women’s Association is one of the 10 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) run by women that took part in the trade fair held March 3–7 at the Robinsons Place atrium by the Iligan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Incorporation (ICCIFI).

Since 2010, the women’s association has used abaca fiber to make things like bags, leis, wallets, and other things.

Adelaida Rico from the Pabahandi Women’s Association is glad to have the chance to show off their goods. From March 3–7, they earned P10,000 from the trade fair.

“Sa mga kababaihan dinhi sa Iligan City, ug unsa may livelihood nga inyong gihimo karon, padayon lang gyud. Busa hinay-hinay mu-income ra gyud ang mga kababaihan alang tabang sa atong laing-laing pamilya,” said Rico.

(To the women here in Iligan City, whatever livelihood you are pursuing now, just keep going. You will slowly earn income to help your families)

Sohaila Pacalna of Marawi Souvenir Shop proudly sells Maranao products that carry the stories of their vibrant culture and identity. (ADD/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte).

Fostering Maranao culture

Sohaila Pacalna of Marawi Souvenir Shop is proud to sell Maranao products that carry the stories of their vibrant culture and identity. She said that they continued the legacy of their ancestors to preserve their traditions and culture.

They sell baur (hand carved chests with okir motifs), brass jars, drums, gongs, tapestries, and landap (tubular woven cloth)  with langkit designs, among others.

Pacalna thanked ICCIFI for inviting them again to sell their products. They sold P30,000 worth of products during the five-day trade fair.

“Nagpapasalamat ako sa kanila dahil kahit papaano na popromote ang aking product lalong-lalo na itong product namin sa Tugaya na pinaghirapan namin dahil hindi naming ito matitigil kasi ayaw naming mawala ang signatura naming pagka-Maranao,” she said.

(I am grateful to them because my products are showcased, especially this product of ours in Tugaya that we worked hard for since we cannot stop it because we do not want to lose our Maranao signature.)

Pacalna said she is willing to teach her fellow women how to produce such products. She said that their business has helped empower the women in their communities as it provides livelihood opportunities for them.

Women’s determination and resiliency

Reggie Punongbayan, the president of ICCIFI, praised the women entrepreneurs who kept their businesses going despite the problems caused by the pandemic for their determination, hard work, and strength. She also encouraged them not to give up since failure is a stepping stone to success.

“Kung kinsa gusto magstart ug business, dili jud mu-give up. Kining failure muhatag sa success. Because of failures, makalearn ta ug makahatag sa success sa atoa,” she said.

(Whoever wants to start a business must not give up. Failure will lead to success. Because of our failures, we can learn something that will help us attain success)

Punongbayan also highlighted the importance of partnerships and collaborations. She also reiterated their commitment to supporting MSMEs.

Handicrafts made by women show not only creativity but also grit and persistence because they are made from real materials. Truly, women’s empowerment is thriving, and their success stories prove that they can make a difference through crafts. (LELA/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte)

The Department of Science and Technology boosts city-based Surban Machine Shop through the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP). With the agency’s technological support, the firm attains 48% increase in productivity from 2018 to 2022.

In 2018, they availed assistance to answer much needed S&T interventions for the acquisition of a universal milling machine and shaper machine. This enabled the firm to fabricate parts in their production line and minimize low-quality outputs. They also boosted production by 23% from 130 work orders in 2018 to 159 work orders in 2022.  Gross sales increase by 38%  from 2018 to 2022. The firm has fully refunded its financial obligations to DOST in January 2023 and is planning on taking on another cycle of S&T Interventions through DOST-SETUP.

Mrs. Rosalina Surban, proprietor, with shop manager and husband, Mr. Retecio S. Surban, during the monitoring interview.

The owner, Mrs. Rosalina G. Surban said that they are grateful to the technical assistance provided by the agency on their business, even during the onslaught of the pandemic. “Tungod sa pagsalig nga gihatag sa DOST sa amoa paagi sa SETUP, nakumpleto among production line og wala nami nagpa-job out”, she said. Outsourcing costs have become additional profit since the assistance of the SETUP program.

The completed production line brought higher productivity for the firm and helped them weather the challenges of the covid pandemic. They also increased their B2B transactions with large-sized industrial customers in Iligan City, Kauswagan in Lanao del Norte, and Lugait in Misamis Oriental. They also sustained two additional workers and consistently provided training to interns from TESDA programs in Iligan City. With this, they were awarded with Bronze Bagwis Seal of DTI-10 in 2021 for their compliance to fair trade laws.

The Surban Machine Shop is a family-owned micro-enterprise in Tambo, Brgy Hinaplanon, which specializes in the fabrication and repair of machine parts for large industrial firms. It has been operating since 2016.

The SETUP program is a nationwide strategy that aims to utilize Science, Technology, and Innovation for enhanced productivity and competitiveness of MSMEs and priority industries. The DOST in Lanao del Norte actively supports the homegrown metals and engineering firms of Iligan City to upgrade their operations and maintain their productivity despite the many challenges to the industry and the local market.

Kaya bilang selebrasyon ng Teacher’s Month, pasalamatan natin ang ating mga teachers at ipakita natin ang ating appreciation by tagging them sa comment section, sharing our fondest memories of them, and posting on our feeds and timelines with the #ThankYouTeacher

Share your story now! #IliganDaily

For almost three years of providing jobs to the Filipino community closer to homes, Envizion Philippines Inc. continuous to enjoy rapid growth and productivity since its establishment on August of 2016. It has consistently grown in size, range and stature every year and is now widely recognized as this years’ Best English Online Tutorial Center in the Golden Globe Awards for Business Excellence.

Envizion Philippines Inc. (Cagayan de Oro) is ‘considerably’ the country’s biggest Japanese Online English tutorial center (a subsidiary of RareJob, Inc.) providing English tutorial services to Japanese students in one-on-one video lessons via Skype. It aims to encourage 10 million Japanese people to speak fluent English which will enable them to access chances of getting employment around the world.

In recognition to the dedicated and hardworking employees behind Envizion’s remarkable achievement, the company spearheaded a thanksgiving event last April 13 at De Oro Sagatech Resort dubbed as “Envizion’s Summer Night”, graced with the CEO himself Sunsuke Mizushima together with his family and friends.

The night was highlighted with endless gratitude to its employees, for everything what the company has achieved and to be achieved in the future. But, a party with no performances from the extra-talented employees is no party at all. The night was filled with so much fun as every one of them grooves and enjoys the glorious night.  A surprise fire dance presentation left the crowd in awe which ignited demure souls to weld and rouse hidden talents.  It goes even wilder when CEO Sunsuke Mizushima was having fun, as he himself was actively participating in the parlor games. It truly was a night to remember.

Night Party has become the company’s way to build rapport and strengthen the organizational bond. It is their way of rewarding the work and effort of its employees as well as building better working environment to effectively sustain great relationship with its clients. This just shows how they really value and serve its workforce. They establish communication lines as part of a feedback mechanism for the mutual growth.

No doubt this English tutorial center has found home in Cagayan de Oro. Congratulations Envizion PH!
